I have just come across a French theatre team called Frog and Rosbeef who perform mini plays for key Stages 2,3 and 4.

They were formed in 2004 and are based in Devon, but can travel further afield on request. They currently perform two plays, one for KS2, one for KS3/4. This is the KS2 play:
The KS3/4 play is a comic piece called Frangin-Frangine lasting 50 minutes. They describe it as a mixture of Shakespeare, Bernard-Marie Koltès and Georged Feydeau (French playwrights) with a hint of The Matrix.
Both plays are performed in French with occasional use of English and includes elements of slapstick and farce.
The two person acting team (with helpers) also offer the following for primary schools:
An introduction to languages and language learning for reception and year 1 classes - 35-40 minutes.

This begins with a brief discussion about France
and the idea of languages which is tailored to the level of the children
by encouraging pupil participation.A French version of a story book is read, brought alive with finger puppets and other props.
Just to add, my old school regularly invited the Flying Theater Company in to do shows for Y7 and y8 pupils and these always went down well. I imagine Frog and Rosbeef would spice up any school's MFL programme.
