I've been doing a lot of searching recently for new listening material for frenchteacher.net and came across this rather nifty French songs site which comes, I believe, from a French (FLE) teacher working in Japan. What makes this one different is that the large collection of songs, videos and lyrics is sortable by level of difficulty and theme (both language theme and topic).
For example, themes include: amour, enfance, érotisme, humour, librté, mort and société. Songs are also rated as facile, moyen, difficile and by other categories such as argot, français familier, vocabulaire, anglicisme and canadianisme.
Songs come from all areas and the site is free.Transcriptions appear beneath the video clip and teachers could quickly create exercises themselves or by using something like Taskmagic 3.

Hi, congrats for your blog and thank you very much for the review of mine. I am Eric B. (you know me as @_ERlC) !
ReplyDeleteIronically, the same day I discovered your review, that is, exactly 2 hours ago, I had a technical probem on the whole site and all the category have been wiped !
I will do my best to have them back soon, but I can't figure out what to do now...
Anyway, merci encore.
